As Senior Software Engineer in a digital agency, I drive innovative technical solutions in a project-based manner. I lead the development and implementation of software to enhance digital experiences.

As part of the Names team at TomTom, I was responsible for designing, creating, and deploying services to improve the quality of linguistic data in the TomTom map. This included migrating legacy systems to a new codebase to enhance the accuracy and consistency of street names, POIs, and place names.

For my master's thesis at TomTom, I developed a deep neural network to normalize street names, Point of Interests, and place names on the TomTom map, automating the previously manual validation process. This six-month internship involved researching, comparing, and applying various Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques.

While studying, I worked at TomTom two days a week as a Front-end Developer. During this time, I developed the second version of a central internal tool for managing a pool of worker nodes, as well as a WordPress recruiting website.

I've developed and maintained multiple websites. The most recent website I made was for Dogma, a Cocktailbar in Antwerp.
